Who We Are

At W.A.G.S Rescue NZ, we believe every dog deserves safety, care, and a chance to live the life they were meant for.
 

Founded by Pip Randall and Alasdair Dally in Auckland, W.A.G.S was built on years of hands-on rescue experience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right for animals in need.

 

Our rescue is powered by volunteers and a growing network of foster families, vet partners, and community supporters. From emergency intakes and vet care to long-term rehabilitation and rehoming, W.A.G.S is there for every stage of the journey because we know that rescue doesn’t end when a dog is safe, it begins there.

 

Our sanctuary in Kumeū provides a safe haven for dogs and puppies while they heal, learn, and prepare for their forever homes. Each rescue receives personalised care, training, and support designed to set them up for success and every adoption helps us continue to save the next life waiting for a chance.
